Pesquisar soluções para a formatação do conteúdo da Notícia

Deve ser possível formatar o título e corpo da notícia com negrito, itálico, sublinhado, subtítulos (fonte maior), links e listas. Para essa função, existem algumas soluções, como o Textile, Markdown, Redcloth ou HTML puro.
O propósito deste ticket é investigar as soluções possíveis, assim como vantagens e desvantagens de cada uma.

De acordo com o site oficial da RedCloth (http://redcloth.org/) o RedCloth é um módulo para utilizar o Textile em Ruby.
Acho que podemos ficar tranqüilos quanto à escolha do RedCloth, já que pela documentação oficial é possível notar o quão simples (mas customizável e poderoso) é o Textile.

O Markdown parece ser fácil de usar, mas carece de recursos.
Acho que HTML puro não seria uma alternativa para os jornalistas.

No próprio site do Textile são oferecidas 3 alternativas
acts_as_textiled Plugin that makes using Textile as simple as it can be. The specified model field is always interpreted as Textile when displayed, except when in a form (for editing).
Textile Editor Helper Plugin that shows a simple toolbar over Textile text-entry areas, so you can, for example, click a Word-like “B” icon for bold and it will wrap the selected text in asterisks. (Display is still not wysiwyg, however.)
RedCloth [Textile Humane Web Text for Ruby] Ruby gem for translating Textile markup to HTML.
